When I created ALPORTAL back in 2017, I was still pretty sick and just looking for ways to bring meaning into the long days of chronic pain, suffering and fasting. Little did I know that my website would be so interesting in all its topics and discussions. Without me realising, some sections gained more popularity than others and I started receiving numerous additional questions, invitations to seminars and advice requests. I joined several charity initiatives supporting youth sports, organised new football tournaments and posted over 10 000 high-quality photos from academy football fields in Bulgaria and The Netherlands. I joined online support groups for promoting sustainable and healthy eating habits. Not just that, but I volunteered at what I consider the most meaningful sports website in Bulgaria - VIASPORT, while also arranging for free goalkeeper trainings for youngsters from different clubs.
I didn't neglect my personal development either. Despite being seriously disabled, I completed football coaching courses with goalkeeper coaching being my specialty. I obtained postgraduate certificates in sport management and corporate social responsibility in sport from Johan Cruyff Institute Amsterdam while venturing back into my child and sport psychology background from the university years back at City, University of London. My newly discovered friendships in the football business played a major role in trying to find additional career focus while endless discussions with football professionals from Bulgaria, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia and Germany helped me realise I have the capacity to help people succeed not just in sports but in all aspects of life as well.
In late 2020 I reached a turning point and decided to restructure ALPORTAL into a consultancy platform, through which people can get to know the concepts of work ethic, professional attitude and sustainable living. I started attracting people with similar understanding of life and sport to join my team and together we want to establish a totally different, much more personal and genuine model of communication and relationships in the business world of sport. I keep my strong believe that doing good always brings good, critical thinking leads to progress and professionalism is an ideal that must be sustained...because ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!
